How TheDualWeb handles product data.
This Privacy Policy explains how PT JAJAKA SAKTI INDONESIA ("we", "us") handles personal data through TheDualWeb browser extension, TheDualWeb mobile app, and thedualweb.com.
Scope and contact
This policy applies to TheDualWeb products and website. For privacy questions, data access, correction, or deletion requests, contact [email protected].
TheDualWeb browser extension
The browser extension reads contact numbers you enter or select from a local TXT or single-column CSV file. Files are read and validated locally; file contents and file names are not uploaded. When you start a check, the extension sends only the normalized number list to api.thedualweb.com for the requested availability check.
The extension stores temporary pairing data and the session credential in browser local storage so the authorized connection can continue across extension openings. Number lists and results remain only in the current extension page and are cleared when you close it or start another scan. The production service does not retain number lists or results after processing. Pairing and session data remain until you disconnect, remove the local session, the connected service ends the session, or the session expires. Sessions may expire after a maximum of 24 hours.
TheDualWeb mobile app
The mobile app processes and stores account connection data, profile data, phone numbers, message content, media, chat metadata, and device or push data when available. We use these data to connect authorized business accounts, display conversations, send and receive messages, maintain the requested inbox experience, and provide support and security.
Contact access is optional and requested only when you open the contact picker. Names and phone numbers are displayed locally so you can choose a recipient. TheDualWeb mobile app does not modify, synchronize, upload, or retain your address book. Only the phone number you select is used to open the requested conversation.
Microphone access is optional and requested only when you start recording a voice note. Recording stops when you leave the active recording experience, and background recording is disabled. A temporary recording is sent only after you choose Send, or deleted when you cancel or remove it.
We retain this data while the account remains connected. After you disconnect an account, we delete associated data from our active systems within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law. Deleted data may remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 additional days before permanent removal.
Service providers and sharing
We use Contabo to host TheDualWeb services and support email. We may process data through WhatsApp, Meta, and other services required to provide the connection and messaging experience you request. These services process data under their own policies and terms.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this website. We may disclose data when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to investigate misuse of our services.
Security
We limit access to authorized personnel and use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security; keep your device and account credentials secure.
Your choices
TheDualWeb browser extension does not persist number lists, selected file contents, file names, or check results. You can disconnect the session or remove its local browser credential, then revoke the linked device in WhatsApp if needed. In TheDualWeb mobile app, you can disconnect an account to start deletion. We delete associated data from active systems within 30 days, and encrypted backups may retain deleted data for up to 30 additional days.
You may also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data, subject to applicable law and our need to prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our products, data practices, or legal obligations change. We will publish the updated version on this page and revise the last updated date.
